KEY OBJECTIVES OF THE NwTFM
Create a museum dedicated to the life, works, and legacy of Ngugi wa Thiong’o. This center will serve as a hub for promoting African languages, literature, and cultural exchange while providing a space for learning and celebration.
Support initiatives that enhance literacy and fluency in African languages through instruction, writing, translations, publishing, research, music, drama
Tap into the innovation and creativity of African people through grassroots initiatives in arts, science, and technology rooted in African languages
Advocate for policies that prioritize the inclusion of African languages in education, governance, and business sectors
Collaborate and network with partners and institutions, organizations, and individuals who share our commitment to promoting and empowering African languages
